We got a bit tired of manually counting SMD components on reels during inventory or while preparing BOMs for production, so we decided to create a simple device to make the process easier for counting the most common SMD package sizes on 8–16 mm tapes.
That’s how ReelTrack was born — a portable and accurate SMD electronic component counter. It’s our first (but definitely not our last!) product outside the automotive diagnostics category.
ReelTrack weighs only 40 grams, connects via USB Type-C, and features an OLED display for easy data reading. The device is perfect for engineers, technicians, and electronics manufacturers. You can find the product here.
