Ignition Scope Probes
The ignition system operates with high voltage, up to tens kilovolts. Its direct assessment becomes a complex and dangerous procedure for both the diagnostician and the equipment. To simplify this operation, a series of measuring probes has been specially developed. They allow you to pick up a secondary voltage waveform without invasion into the high voltage circuit. These probes include: capacitive clamp-style secondary sensors, inductive COP pick-up sensor, and test leads for measuring primary voltage. The required sensor is selected depending on the ignition system used: HEI, DIS, COP or hybrid.
